Handlung

Im Indianerreservat von Pine Ridge, in South Dakota, reitet Brady Blackburn Wildpferde. Nach einem schweren Sturz, muss der junge Rodeostar das Rodeoreiten aufgeben. Infolge einer Hirnverletzung bekommt er epileptische Anfälle. Er muss sich an ein ganze neues Leben gewöhnen, behindert durch eine Schwester, die am Asberger Syndrom leidet und einen alten Vater, den die harte Arbeit ausgelaugt hat. Brady entdeckt ein ihm bis dahin völlig unbekanntes Amerika.

Plot:
On the Pine Ridge Indian reservation in South Dakota, Brady Blackburn rides wild horses. After a heavy fall, the young rodeo star has to give up rodeo riding. Due to a brain injury, he has epileptic seizures. He has to get used to a whole new life, handicapped by a sister who suffers from Asberger Syndrome and an old father who has been exhausted by hard work. Brady discovers an America he had never seen before.
